The secret to being there when customers are looking for your business

If you run a local business you HAVE to show up when people look for you.

It's not optional. You NEED to be there when people look for you and your service on Google.

The issue is that most business owners never even check their Google ranking. 

Because if you did... you'd make this a bigger priority.

And I'm not talking about putting in the literal name of your business to see if Google shows your listing. Because that's not what clients are doing.

They're typing in stuff

And whoever is in the top three for that term? They win.

Maybe, maaaaaaaaayyyyyyyybbbbbbbeeeeeeee someone takes the time to go through listing 1-5. But if you're scoring lower than that? 

You're cooked. Done. Washed.

Might as well not be there at all because you're invisible.

So how do you fix it and how do you get Google to rank your business higher?

I might turn this into a series because I'm not going to get remotely close to covering this subject in one newsletter.

But let me give you a great start.

You check out whoever is scoring in the top 5 now... and you see what they're doing differently. 

Here's a simple example. Let's say I check for: Plumbers Atlanta. This pops up:

You scroll back to see when your company shows up. Hopefully you're on the first page but let's say you're not...

...then it's time to check out the top 5 listings and do something really simple:

You find the differences between your listing and theirs.

What do they have that you don't? I can promise you that if you look closely enough you'll find more than a few things to optimize for by JUST doing this.

And that will get you higher in rankings. Which will get you more clients. Which will make you more money. Which will allow you to work with me and my team to grow even quicker.

You see? It's all one giant conspiracy to make you do even better so we end up working together. Supreme evil.
